 The UN World Food Program recently sent a large quantity of Hippo Water Rollers to the people of northern Somalia.The rollers were branded in corporate colours and the UN-WFP logo was blended into the screw cap. Even the containers were branded.  Mrs. Kezia Obama (Barack Obama’s stepmother from Kenya) and her son Ben (Barack Obama’s half-brother) recently travelled to South Africa and endorsed the Hippo Water Roller.Mrs. Obama was introduced to the roller through a South African NGO called Operation Hunger of whom she is the patron.
 Collette Vacations Foundation is a supporter of the Hippo Water Roller and recently donated another 300 rollers to a rural community called Kgautswane in South Africa.This repeat donation is part of their “Giving Back” program whereby they support projects in the countries that they travel to.
 Safmarine Container Lines, the international shipping company organised a CSI fund raising event called 'Hercules Day' in Belgium.The purpose was to raise money from their own staff to sponsor Hippo rollers for the people of Burkina Faso - 175 x rollers were shipped. |
