Bloemwater delivered 50x Hippo rollers to the rural community of Naledi Trust near Kroonstad in the Free State, South Africa. The community took ownership of the rollers at a handover event on 5 March 2013. Great excitement and appreciation was enjoyed by all.
The CEO of Bloemwater, Dr. Benjamin Malakoane was present to make a speech and explained the project to the community beneficiaries. Dr. Malakoane also personally handed out each and every Hippo roller.
The children’s choir gave a truly beautiful rendition of the South African anthem. The children each received a water bottle and a lovely lunchtime hamper of significant value to them – a treat they seldom get!
